Farlagne Races

Notice to all parents/athletes and coaches:

Mount Farlagne race next weekend will most likely be our last race of the season. I have not heard yet from Poley about rescheduling the NB Cup races for Entry/K1 and feel that they may sanction the race at Farlagne for all: With that in mind I need to know who is planning attending the races prior to Tuesday Evening. Please email me your intentions as soon as possible so that I can send in the race list. The accomodations for this race are at the Chateau Edmondston, and parents should contact them directly to book a room. If parents are going up and they have room in their vehicles please let me know so I can find rides for athletes without them. Thanks

Because most racers will be attending this race all coaches will be attending this race. Therefore there will be no training at Crabbe Mountain next weekend.

The memorial race is scheduled for March 31st if weather permits.

Race Training Cancelled

Due to the inclement weather training has been cancelled. Sorry for the late notice but I had hoped that the rain would stop earlier last night.

Wednesday Night Training Cancelled

Due to the possible inclement weather and returning athletes from CWG this week's Wednesday Night Training is Cancelled. Next training for K2 and Up athletes will be on Saturday.

Please remember to send in your intentions for upcoming races as soon as possible.

Hat Success at Crabbe

Our silent auction ran on Sunday. Despite a limited amount of “stuff”, we raised $1000 in one afternoon and had some fun doing it too. The attached photo shows some of the 35 hats sold for $5 each.

Upcoming events

Please let coaches know whether you plan on attending the following races

Entry/K1: Poley on Saturday and/or Sunday
K1/K2 and Up : Farlagne on March 24/25
Memorial Cup: Crabbe March 31st.

Brookvale Cancelled

Dear New Brunswick Ski Teams, I am afraid I just received word from our Chief of Race, Mark Steele, that due to expected low numbers we will be canceling the 2007 Brookvale Invitational.
It seems that between Canada Games and March Breaks there are just too many other obligations for parents, coaches and athletes
