Dry Land tonight and Thursday please attend as much as possible.
There will be some coaches at the hill this Saturday and Sunday to begin training. This training is optional but we hope to see some of you out to get a good start to the season, the hill is awesome.

Helmet Rules
It was requested of us to look into the ACA helmet rule for non FIS races. After internal discussion and discussion with the CSA with respect to insurance, we must inform you that ACA’s stance on this is that helmet use for all non FIS events must conform with FIS standards.
FIS RULE:
New & Addition: Art. 707, 807, 907, 1007 - Crash helmets All competitors and forerunners are obliged to wear a crash helmet that conforms to the competition equipment specification.
Helmets used in FIS Snowsports shall be specifically designed and manufactured for the respective discipline and shall bear a CE mark and conform to recognized and appropriate standards such as CEEH. Din 1077 or US 2040, ASTM F2040, SNELL S98 or RS98, etc.
Please check your son/daughters helmet for these codes. IF you can not find it on the helmets check on line with the helmet dealer or contact your local ski shop. Most helmets I have examined are okay. It will be rare to not have the proper certification.
We are also looking into rules and recommendations on Chin Guards for Slalom and "Boil/Bite" mouth guards for training and racing.
Have a great weekend at Crabbe while we are at Mount Sainte Anne....66 trails open.....whoo hoo.
